We hope that our many friends and partners are someplace comfortable with family and friends and are preparing for a fantastic meal this Thanksgiving. Hopefully, you can skip the long black Friday lines and go for a nice OHV ride this weekend. As always, we remind you to continue to be the great ambassadors of the sport that we know you are and model safe and responsible behavior and wear all the appropriate safety gear when riding.

There are many things to be thankful for this year in the OHV world, and the NOHVCC Board and Staff wanted to share some the things they are personally thankful for:

“I’m thankful for the dedicated people that work so hard at the grass roots level and beyond to ensure a positive future for motorized recreation. I’m grateful for the professional land managers, agency people, and other officials that support our interests.  I’m grateful for the excellent organizations, and those that help to fund and support them, that proactively develop and support our advocates to help ensure we are effective in furthering our interests.  I can’t imagine where we’d be without this incredible combination of people, organizations, and resources contributing so much toward a bright future for OHV recreation.” -Bryan Much, President, NOHVCC Board

“I am Thankful for public and private riding opportunities and responsible users.  Industry support for safety, ethics and advocacy.  And most of all the lifelong friends I have made outdoors!” – Brad Smith, Private Lands IAR, NOHVCC Board

“I am thankful for dirt bikes, good challenging trails, friends I meet out riding, dedicated agency staff, outstanding NOHVCC partners, Laura keeping me on task, and rides with my family……Did I mention dirt bikes?” – Marc Hildesheim, Executive Director

“Being able to explore the backcountry on an ATV and the family that being a part of OHV recreation has created for myself, my husband, and my children.” – Laura Feist, Executive Assistant

“I am grateful for all the volunteers who put in their time, hearts and efforts to ensure that off-highway vehicle riding is fun, safe and responsible.” – Oksana Buhel, Moto Canada, NOHVCC Board

Thank you for another great year at NOHVCC. We cannot wait to celebrate successes and tackling the issues of the OHV world with all of you who make OHV recreation so awesome in 2024! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
