NOHVCC Staff has put together a checklist and a few other things for you to have while preparing for the Annual Conference. 

  1. The conference will be held at the Zermatt Resort in Midway, UT located at 784 W Resort Drive, Midway UT, 84049. You can find out about the resort’s many amenities here.
  2. To arrange transport from the airport to the host hotel make sure to sign up for our shuttle service here.
  3. Mobile app will be available for all those using a smart phone. To download the mobile app visit our website for more information. 
  4. Registration will open on Wednesday October 11, at 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the conference center located next door to the host hotel. Registration will reopen from 6:30am to 8:00am on Thursday October 12 prior to the mobile workshop.
  5. Those participating in the mobile workshop on October 12, must board the shuttle by 8:15 am to get a ride to the mobile workshop location. Those driving themselves will need to proceed to the archery range parking lot by 9:00am. The archery range parking lot is located here.
  6. All those wishing to participate in the mobile workshop must complete the UT OHV Safety Training Course. The course can be found here.
  7. All those participating in the mobile workshop will have to sign all waivers prior to receiving your wristband for attendance. One of the waivers can be signed here. 
  8. All those participating in the mobile workshop must wear a helmet, goggles, long pants, long sleeved shirt, and over the ankle boots. You will be checked prior to leaving the parking lot in an OHV.
  9. There will be a reception after the mobile workshop featuring hors d’oeuvres and This will begin at 7:00pm on October 12.
  10. The main conference will kick off on Friday October 13, at 8:00am in the Matterhorn Room of the conference center. This will be our main conference room and will host conference meals.
  11. There will be a raffle drawing held during the Saturday banquet. If you have raffle items that your club or business would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. Funds will be utilized to further NOHVCC’s mission and offset some of the costs of the conference.
  12. Dress for the conference is business casual.
  13. Conference will be heavily focused on open discussion and interaction of participants. Come ready to participate in a respectful manner and identify the resources and trainings that are needed to create a positive future for OHV recreation.
  14. We would like to request that all presenters deliver their presentations on a thumb drive to Marc or Laura by Friday October 13, at 8:00am.
  15. Looking for things to do outside of the conference?
    1. Play some mini-golf or shuffleboard at the Zermatt, don’t forget to check out the swimming pool with an indoor waterfall.
    2. Check out one the local golf courses such as the course at Wasatch Mountain State Park. Sorry, NOHVCC won’t be reimbursing you for flying out your golf clubs, but rentals are available.
    3. Go for a swim in the geothermal hot spring in a natural dome at Homestead Resort.
    4. Visit the town of Heber. They have some great restaurants and shops.
    5. Get some artisan cheese or ice cream from the Heber Valley Artisan Cheese
    6. Hang out in the lounge at Zermatt. They have a special menu for NOHVCC Conference participants, a very nice patio, and multiple big screen TVs.
