Important Information for Mobile Workshop Participants! – NOHVCC

The NOHVCC Mobile Workshop is Thursday, October 17. You must register in advance to participate.

The Workshop will be held at Prison Hill Recreation area just outside of Carson City, NV. NOHVCC is currently in phase two of a three-phase project at the area and participants in will have an opportunity to gain a unique insight into the on-the-ground work (such as trail layout) that NOHVCC espouses.

The Workshop will be broken into three sessions. Each attendee will have an opportunity to participate in each session. Transportation to and from the Conference hotel (Whitney Peake) and lunch will be provided to registered participants.

If you are taking the bus from the Conference hotel – please be in the lobby/registration area no later than 7:45 am, the bus will depart at 8:00 am.

It is important that you comply with the safety requirements for all participants. Anyone who operates a dirt bike, ATV or ROV, or who rides as a passenger in an ROV, MUST wear all appropriate safety gear. For all vehicles this includes a DOT-compliant helmet, eye protection, long sleeve shirt or jersey, long pants, over-the-ankle boots, and gloves. All gear must be worn at all times while operating any of these vehicles – including while loading and unloading.

Anyone not wearing all appropriate safety gear will be prohibited from participating in the ride. NOHVCC will have a few loaner helmets, goggles and gloves; however, everyone is encouraged to bring their own gear. Loaner gear will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There will NOT be enough for everyone.
