The Oregon Department of Forestry is seeking two (2) OHV Trail management positions for the Tillamook State Forest. These are full-time, year-round positions and would be part of a larger team of two equipment operators and one program coordinator to manage all OHV trail in the Tillamook, Clatsop, and Santiam State Forests. Here is part of the description… As the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Specialist you will support and advance the OHV Program across state forest land. Specifically, the development, maintenance, and improvement of OHV trail and facility infrastructure. You will be involved with OHV trail system management, program planning, OHV event administration, and volunteer program coordination.

We are looking for people who have OHV trail riding experience and a keen eye for designing and constructing awesome trails. The ODF has stable funding through the ATV Fund Program and we are doing a lot of on-the-ground work, which provides a rewarding job experience. Additionally, the city of Forest Grove is a highly sought after work location with its relatively small town feel and easy access to Portland.
