The Bureau of Land Management has extended the public comment period for their proposed public lands rule to July 5, 2023. The rule is intended to:

  • Restore critical wildlife habitat and clean water
  • Protect healthy public lands in the face of increasing drought, wildfire, and climate impacts
  • Ensure responsible development backed by science and data

It is up to all OHV recreation enthusiasts to ensure that OHV recreation is well represented in the new rule and that we provide input on the future of OHV recreation opportunities on BLM managed lands. One way to do this is to provide substantive comments on the rule. Please visit the BLM website for more information or to learn how to comment should you wish to do so: https://www.blm.gov/press-release/blm-extends-comment-period-proposed-public-lands-rule.
