Nevada Calls for Recreational Trails Program Motorized Project Applications – NOHVCC

CARSON CITY, NV – The Nevada Division of State Parks is currently accepting grant applications for motorized trail projects in anticipation of the 2024 Federal Highway Administration funding of the Recreational Trails Program (RTP).

RTP funding may be awarded to counties, municipalities, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and Native American tribal governments for the purpose of construction and/or maintenance of motorized outdoor recreational trails, development, installation or maintenance of motorized trailhead amenities, and development, installation, maintenance of motorized trailside signage. Applications must fall within the two following categories:

RTP motorized funding is limited to approximately $300,000.00 for this grant cycle. Allocation of funds will be competitively determined by the RTP Advisory Committee and State Parks Administration following the evaluation of proposed projects.

Please visit http://parks.nv.gov/about/grant-programs/recreational-trails-program to review RTP guidelines. Applications may only be submitted through the State Parks Online Grant Portal, located at https://nvparks.webgrantscloud.com/. Paper copy or e-mail submissions will not be accepted.
