Save the Date: NOHVCC Annual Conference 2025
The 2025 NOHVCC Annual Conference will be held in Bend, OR on October 9-11. The conference will be held at the RiverHouse Lodge, which lies on the banks of the Deschutes River. The hotel features riverside rooms, a beautiful conference center, and extremely friendly staff. Reservation information will be available shortly to participants.
Bend is an outdoor recreation community with several OHV trail systems within a short commute. There are also mountain bike trails, golf courses, opportunities for kayaking, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and public lands. Bend has a large selection of restaurants and businesses to visit while you are in town. Make sure you do not miss the last remaining Blockbuster on Earth.
Conference Content
As always, the conference will feature content specific to OHV recreation, OHV clubs, trail projects, partnerships, and much more. You can find our preliminary agenda here (Agenda at a glance). If you require additional information to plan your travel or to request permission to attend from your place of work please reach out to us at [email protected].
We will have two content packed days to help you learn about best management practices in OHV recreation. We are also working on setting up a tour of the COHVOPS (Central Oregon Combined OHV Operations) program facilities. COHVOPS is a unique partnership between the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forest and the Prineville District of the Bureau of Land Management formed to provide efficient OHV management in Central Oregon.
Mobile Workshop
Once again, we will be organizing the Conference Mobile Workshop to learn about management practices, maintenance, volunteer efforts, and other relevant topics. This is also a unique opportunity to ride the trails in Central Oregon. Participation in this event requires an additional registration charge outside of the standard conference registration. This will include those traveling on a state partner travel grant. We have been working with local land managers and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to ensure that this is a memorable experience that gives you a unique feel for trails in Central Oregon.
