Description:
This two-day training will consist of two hands-on field sessions. Field sessions will be held at the Penrose Commons Recreation Site, managed by the Royal Gorge Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management. Participants will be required to provide their own transportation to the field sessions. Lodging options are available in Canon City. Lunch will be provided to participants on both days. An OHV will not be necessary to access the workshop sites, but high clearance vehicles are recommended. Make sure to bring appropriate clothing for the area and season, lots of water, and any snacks or additional supplies you may need.

Scholarship:
Those seeking travel assistance to attend this workshop can apply for a scholarship by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. These scholarships are provided by COHVCO through a grant received from Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Grants will be reimbursement based and will be paid by COHVCO. NOHVCC is responsible for coordinating and reporting the scholarships to COHVCO. Reimbursement procedures will be shared with successful recipients. Eligible costs include mileage to and from the workshop and two nights lodging.
