Description
Thanks to funding from the Right Rider Access Fund, the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) and Northwest Motorcycle Association invite you to participate in a two-day Great Trails Workshop focused on the design, construction, maintenance, and management of sustainable and enjoyable OHV trails.
This workshop will include two hands-on field training sessions held at the Lower Valley Trail area, managed by the United States Forest Service. Participants will gain practical, real-world experience working alongside trail professionals while learning techniques used to build and maintain high-quality OHV trail systems.
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to the field sessions. Lodging is available nearby in Randle and Packwood. Government employees are encouraged to contact the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District to inquire about possible bunkhouse lodging options.
A motorcycle is not required to participate in the workshop. However, if you are able to bring your own machine it would be greatly appreciated. All work will be focusing on motorized single track.
Lunch will be provided on April 29, 2026. On April 30, participants should bring their own lunch as the group will be working in the field throughout the day.
