Join the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) for a two-day Great Trails Workshop focused on the design, construction, maintenance, and management of sustainable and enjoyable OHV trails.
This workshop will feature two hands-on field training sessions held at the Penrose Commons Recreation Site, managed by the Bureau of Land Management through the Royal Gorge Field Office. Participants will gain practical, real-world experience working alongside trail professionals while learning techniques used to create and maintain high-quality OHV trail systems.
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to the field sessions. Lodging is available nearby in Cañon City. Lunch will be provided both days.
An OHV is not required to participate in the workshop; however, high-clearance vehicles are recommended for accessing field locations.
