Until Sunday, July 12th, Utah State Parks is accepting applications to fill a new position that will oversee the state’s expansion of off-highway vehicle grants.

Filling this position with a high-quality professional will be vital for recreation on public lands across the state of Utah. Please apply or encourage other qualified candidates to do so. A background in OHV riding is not required, but it would help.

The position includes a full package of benefits, and hourly wages of $18.64 to $32.06 depending on the person’s experience:

The position will involve:

  • Encouraging land managers, local governments, and nonprofits to apply for grants to do trail work and other OHV projects,
  • Reviewing grant proposals to inform the OHV Advisory Council, and

Awarding contracts and ensuring project completion, which includes visiting project sites all over the state.
