About 100 ATV, Dirt Bike and ROV enthusiasts participated in NOHVCC’s annual Mobile Workshop in advance of the 2018 NOHVCC Annual Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The day started early in Grand Rapids with participants finalizing registration and boarding a bus from the hotel to the Little Manistee Trail System. Once there, everyone was greeted by the sight of demo trucks and vehicles from Polaris, Honda, Can Am, Yamaha, Mahindra and local dealership Peacock LTD, as well as several Board Members and NOHVCC Partners.
The enthusiasts were separated into several groups for an opportunity for a fun ride with a bit of information about the local riding area and discussion about trail management techniques.
The Mobile Workshop kicked off NOHVCC’s Annual Conference. Following a reception and dinner on Thursday night, conference attendees began a day of presentations and discussion about issues faced, successes achieved, and strategies employed over the prior year to fulfill NOHVCC’s mission of creating a positive future for OHV recreation.
NOHVCC thanks all who made the day successful, including the Michigan DNR, NOHVCC Secretary and NOHVCC Partner Lew Shuler, Peacock LTD owner, Jim Faiella, NOHVCC President, Dan Kleen, and all the Partners who brought machines, pitched in to lend a hand or made the event successful by enjoying themselves.
