National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations impact all recreational opportunities on Forest Service lands including OHV recreation. As a result, it is important that OHV enthusiasts understand the rules and engage appropriately. If you are interested in learning more, the Forest Service is hosting two webinars to explain proposed updates to its NEPA regulations (note: these are NOT NOHVCC webinars). Details below.
The following notice was issued by the U.S. Forest Service:
On June 13, 2019 the USDA Forest Service published a proposed rule to update its National Environmental Policy Act regulations (36 CFR 220). The Forest Service is hosting two information-sharing webinars so that you can learn about the changes in the proposed rule. The same content will be presented on each webinar; they also will be recorded and posted online for later viewing.

It will help us be more efficient without sacrificing our commitment to delivering high quality, science-based analysis, and making decisions that honor our environmental stewardship responsibilities.
