Off-Road Business Association
ORBA is a trade
association composed of off-road related
businesses united to promote common
goals that support the prosperity and
growth of the off-road industry.
Although ORBA is a non-profit
corporation, its officers and directors
make decisions and take actions based on
keeping off-road related businesses
operating and profitable. Off-road
volunteer organizations that are working
at the grass-roots level on specific
land use issues can appeal to ORBA for
financial and political support. ORBA
Directors will decide which issues to
support based on potential impacts to
the off-road industry. Many professions
and trades have unions or trade
associations that protect their
interests. The off-road business
community now has ORBA!
Ohio Motorized Trails Association
Faced with the rapidly growing
population of Ohio and the increasingly
limited places to legally enjoy Ohio’s
beautiful outdoor recreational
opportunities, trail users from all over
Ohio have teamed up to form the Ohio
Multi-use Trails Association (OMTA).
OMTA is proposing an approach designed
to create a net environmental gain on
Ohio’s abandoned mine sites, state and
national forests, abandoned township and
railway corridors, and other trail
opportunities to provide safe and
environmentally sustainable recreation
opportunities to the full range of
current and potential trail users.
Partnership Resource Page-
The Partnership Resource Center (PRC)
web site, hosted by the National Forest
Foundation (NFF), encompasses a
collaborative vision formed by the
Forest Service (FS) and the NFF. As a
portal to vast areas of information, the
PRC web site provides partners and FS
staff with boundaryless information and
access they need for enhanced working
relationships. By increasing joint
stewardship capacity and connecting
people to people, the needs of natural
resources can be met.
Public
(Land) Access Home Page
RS 2477
rights-of-way are property rights
originally granted by the federal
government to establish the
transportation network essential to
settlement of the western frontier.
Generally, these rights-of-way grants
were made to local governments and are
held in trust by them for the public.
Today, they
continue to provide virtually all the
public access to and across the hundreds
of millions of acres of public and
private lands in the West and Alaska. In
recent years these rights-of-way and the
public's continued access to these
public and private lands has been
increasingly threatened by a small group
of special interests, growing numbers of
private landowners, and some state and
federal bureaucrats.

is an agency of the U.S. Department of

grasslands encompass 193 million acres
of land, which is an area equivalent to
the size of Texas.
