PHOTOS FROM MONTANA CLEAN-UP JUNE 26
Mike Slevin from West Yellowstone, Montana won the award for most trash collected with 37 bags. Mike has become very experienced at trail clean-up since he started his one-man volunteer trash clean-up program in the West Yellowstone area called Trail Trash Recovery and Recycling Project. Mike pulls a modified utility trailer behind his ATV to recover trash left behind by others.
These are just some of the 118 OHV volunteers who participated in the clean-up. That fella on the far left in the purple sweatshirt is NOHVCC Executive Director Russ Ehnes who is still very active with his state's OHV organization the Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association (MTVRA). The clean-up was part of the Take Pride in America program.
