BLM's National Motorized Recreation Action Plan State Meetings Listing

Creating the Action Plan

4x4x Ride the Iron Range OHV Rec AreaThe purpose of the meetings is ultimately to create an action plan.  These meetings will be done a little differently since they will not be hosted or led by an agency, but by NOHVCC.  Having an outside, non-profit foundation host the meetings puts the BLM and the OHV Enthusiasts both in the audience so the groups are on the same footing; which in turns makes it easier for both groups to have an open dialog and a spirit of cooperation.

To get additional information regarding the Action Plan and the purpose of creating the national strategy, see the BLM Action Plan main page.

For this process to work we need you to participate in one of the meetings listed below. These meetings are informative, fun, and most importantly include free refreshments.

It will also help if all of us come to the table (meetings) with a spirit of collaboration and a goal to develop quality OHV experiences and to bring all the best that you have: your knowledge, enthusiasm, and skills.

NOHVCC will hold several meetings in each State to help us gather the information needed for that State.  The meetings will be attended by both the enthusiasts and the BLM staff from those States, and maybe a couple of national folks as well.  Not only will we be gathering data, we hope to open or enhance the dialog and communication between the partners at these meetings.  Your participation is practically required!

The more information gathered at the meetings, the better the State action plan will be.
