2016 Annual NOHVCC and INOHVAA Joint Conference - Oct 11 - 16
Whew! The 2016 is over. Time to start working on the 2017 annual conference. See the home page of the website for the date and time.
Thanks to everyone who attended our conference! The networking and information that you provide to each other is a very valuable piece of our conferences. Your presence, and your willingness to share your experiences, including what works and what does not, is what makes these conferences great.
Presentations for this conference are available for viewing. Please do not plagiarize the content of the presentations which took place during this conference. This intellectual property does not belong to NOHVCC and we need to respect those who took their time to contribute to our conference.
In case you want to look back at what was covered during the conference, the registration packet and agenda will be available for you to download through the rest of the year.
Thank you to all who worked to make the conference possible!
Thank you presenters! What is a conference without presentations? Each year, the presentations seem to get better. We appreciate the time and effort you put into creating and giving your presentations. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us and making this conference the best place to get pertinent OHV information. We can't wait to see what you will come up with for next year. We are certain they will be as informative as this year's presentations.
We also wish to thank the Bull Run Guest Ranch for the wonderful management tour. The ranch allowed us complimentary use of the area, provided all of the ride leaders and sweepers, and their members donated many of the machines which were used during the mobile workshop. The ranch also allowed us to reflect on a trail they had hired a contractor to build for the ranch.
Thanks to Chris Real, of DPS Technical, for the sound demonstrations and Tom Umphress for the map app discussion as part of the mobile workshop. Sound is still a major issue for OHV trail systems. And the new technology discussion could help keep people from being lost of the trail, improving safety.
And Thanks to Stan Vansickle from the Lewis and Clark National Forest and Chris Murphy from USFS Enterprise Team for their assistance and knowledge during the trail layout and design discussion portion of the mobile workshop.
Thank You Sponsors!
We would not have been able to hold this year's conference without the assistance of our sponsors.
